Have you ever looked up at the sky, saw the stars and moon and was absolutely breath taken by how beautiful it all looks? Have you also tried to pull out your phone and take a picture? Well, I have, and let’s just say phone cameras are for selfies.

One crisp night at Nkwashi, I could crickets in the distance, the sky was filled with stars, constellations staring down at us, if I could paint, this would have been a masterpiece to paint, but alas, all I could do was take in and hope my mind would save this image, I’ve never seen the sky look so vibrant, so full of life and promise. While I stared at the twinkling before me, absent minded, I heard a clicking, I couldn’t figure out where the sound came from, so my mind started its descent from the sky back to earth, I sat up in search of this clicking noise and behold, there was Namukolo, camera in hand, shooting for the stars.

I hope where my words fail, these photos of the stars tell you the story I am unable to.
