One of the most beautiful things in Nkwashi is the sunset.Watching the sun break through as dazzling hues of orange and red fill the sky. Hearing the early birds out to catch the worms, the water in the dam ripple beneath the morning wind. The grass, moist with dew as my toes curl around it.
The sound of eager feet starting to trek through the grounds.The smell of paint, melting metal, polished stone fill the air. Voices float through, carried by the breeze. The thing is, i can barely hear their words, what I do hear in the mix of voices swirling around me is excitement, creativity echoing in their throats. Watching the sunset, the light orange tint of light bringing the art around alive, watching the surface of water shimmer. A Nkwashi sunset is beautiful!
